System Support.

Letters of offer for Support renewal are now being distributed to current Support holders.  New arrangements and services are in place taking account of the earlier change to our Marketing Partners following the demise of the Metric Group.

Total Cost of Ownership.

If you are contemplating the purchase of a new system for your Site please ensure that you expose and assess the total cost of ownership over the expected life of the investment.  Whilst comparing functions, features, hardware brand and configuration, warranties, ease of use, referees etc. is extremely important, on-going costs can sometimes be hidden.  You also need to know who will install and support your product following purchase; do they understand “after sales service”, what do I do when I have a problem? 

On-going system support for our solutions is optional and extremely competitive if chosen.  Compared to one competitor, over a four year period you will pay close to 50% more to own their system.  Salesman “Words” are easy to present but actions and proven performance are a tangible measure.

New Release.

We have finalised the inclusions for the new release of Konvenience which will be version 2.7.  This release will commence rollout early fourth quarter and the highlights are listed below:

·         Mass Price Updates.

·         Unit Pricing.

·         Up-Sell monitoring.

·         Report enhancements.

New Module.

A new Sales Offer module is available from Version 2.7 onward which provides for a Site specific sales discount voucher scheme to be introduced.  The scheme provides a cents per litre fuel discount or dollar discount incentive which is presented as a voucher for automatic redemption with a future purchase. 

BP Eftpos update.

Quest Payment Systems have released a new version of their RetsPic interface for those Konvenience systems which incorporate the BP Integrated Eftpos module.  This upgrade is aimed at enhancing the performance of the interface under certain conditions.  This change will be incorporated with the Version 2.7 upgrade or contact your hardware support provider to arrange an update.

Support in Queensland?

We are pleased to advise that Petrol Services Australia (PSA) is in the process of expanding their operations into Queensland. Along with a range of services offered to the Fuel Industry, they will add the sales, service and support for the Kreative range of solutions. They will now provide this service for South Australia, Victoria and Queensland.

This service will be provided under the watchful eye of Robert Maher who is the most knowledgeable person on our systems outside of us. We are advised that operations will commence within the next three weeks and we will provide the relevant contact details as soon as they are available.

                      Announcement - New Marketing Partner.

   We are extremely pleased to announce the formal launch of a new marketing partnership for the sales and services aspect of our systems in New South Wales.

   ACTION INSTALLATION & SERVICE P/L - have embraced the Kreative solutions within their growing list of products and services to the fuel industry.  Action have resources that are experienced in the installation, training and support of our product suite incorporating hardware and software.  In addition, they can also provide various other services in relation to sales, installation and maintenance of Pumps and Tanks. 

   Action have recently commissioned three new Konvenience sites in New South Wales  with two new Sites in the pipeline.  They are very enthusiastic about continuing this growth as well as providing support for our established Clients in their State.  

   We are presently finalising the support arrangements in relation to contact details and the hours of availability etc.  However, in the meantime you can contact Action during extended business hours on 1300 785 425 to log your hardware and system service requirements.  After hours arrangements will be announced shortly.

                                   Announcement - New Marketing Partner.

    It is with much pleasure that we announce the forming of a new marketing partnership to continue with the sales and servicing of our software solutions covering South Australia and Victoria.

    Petrol Services Australia (PSA) have added the Kreative solutions to their stable of products and services.  Not only will they now be able to sell and support our solutions but can also continue to offer the broader range of services for your Site. Buildings and Grounds Maintenance, Pump and Dispenser sales and maintenance along with Tank and Automation installation.  A great fit overall with two organizations who regard client relationships with the utmost importance.

                                Metric Group Collapse

CLARIFICATION                                                           

    We appreciate the consideration and understanding that the majority of our Clients have shown in the wake of the Metric Group collapse.  As you can imagine quite a number of businesses have been affected by this situation and are busy establishing new commercial relationships to replace this unexpected service disruption.

Progress to date.

    As previously stated Metric Group sold the Kreative software applications under license.  They also provided the hardware component with the associated support service to you, the Client.  We are at present consolidating discussions with two existing service providers to provide a similar arrangement as previously held with the Metric Group.  The key criteria is for these organizations to have the capacity, knowledge and desire to provide the required service with appropriate service levels.

This service requirement is

i) to provide a field service capacity,

ii) to have knowledge of the specific hardware components i.e. PC's, Printers, Scanners, etc.,

iii) to have sound knowledge of the Postec device and

iv) to understand the Kreative solutions.

Kreative will continue to provide our solutions to the market place, third level support to our Clients and new releases.  

We hope to be in position to announce the service providers and the service levels by the end of this week. 

Whilst hardware manufacturers will honour any warranty issues, on-going support services will be subject to the conditions of the new service provider. 

Other services?

    The sole focus for the service provision replacement evolves around the hardware and software for the Kreative solutions, mainly the Konvenience and FuelStop systems.  This is confined to the associated software and hardware components from the Back Office to POS (including Quest Eftpos) to the Postec forecourt controller.  Issues related to Pumps, Tanks, Telecoms, Air Conditioning etc. are not part of the service area under our review.   For other services previously covered by the Metric Group you will need to seek another support provider directly.

                                Metric Group Collapse

Firstly, our thoughts go out to the Metric staff members and their families.  Many of these people were not just work associates but were our friends. We trust that they will be able to recover as quickly as possible from this sudden and unforseen situation.

Whilst we do not underplay the significance of our Marketing Partners sudden demise, it does provide an opportunity to re-configure the overall service provision. Despite the glee that our Competitors are showing, it is full steam ahead from Kreatives perspective.  We are currently in discussions with some exciting Supplier Partners who are equally motivated by service and quality.  This is our highest priority.

All well and good you may say. What do I do if I have a hardware problem now?

Your hardware will be covered by the existing manufacturers warranty.  The system hardware was procured and managed directly by Metric Group.  Unfortunately, the responsibility for supporting this product has evaporated with their withdrawal from the market place.  Until we have established an alternative arrangement we suggest you call us here at Kreative (03 96296099) and we will do whatever we can to address your problem

What happens with my software?

 Metric Group sold the Kreative software applications under license and this license remains operational.  Entitlement to non-chargeable upgrades and software support is dependant on whether or not you have purchased a support option.  Again, we will put in place a replacement support infrastructure i.e. someone to call, someone to help.  Until we have established an alternative arrangement we suggest you call us here at Kreative (03 96296099) and we will do whatever we can to address your problem

The future?

We will continue to provide purposeful, reliable and desirable solutions.  We appreciate your support to date and we look forward to its continuation well into the future.  We are determined to establish an improved Support service for your Kreative solution, not just simply replace what you have experienced to date.

Major Rollout Completed

An extremely busy first half of 2010 prevailed with the rollout of 37 Konvenience systems across Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Many of these were dual POS systems with a handful of triple POS systems also. Our Office resembled a Harvey Norman warehouse and for a few months we were surrounded by cardboard boxes. All components were unpacked, labelled, assembled, built, tested, repacked and shipped.

Jasbe Petroleum - BP Dealer

29 systems were purchased by Jasbe Petroleum which brings the number of their installed systems to 32 in total with more to come over the next 12 months. The rollout was a joint undertaking between staff from Jasbe Petroleum, Kreative Technology and the Metric Group. The systems were implemented at a rate of two per week in each city. On average the disruption to Site trading was kept to around 4 hours during the system cutover. All in all an extremely successful implementation through a well defined and disciplined process supported by teams of enthusiastic and capable people.

In conjunction with this rollout we also implemented the Kreative Head Office Price Book application which provides centrally administered pricing and promotions for all Sites. The Jasbe Group now has the control of all pricing, ranging and promotional decisions for their Network.

In addition to this, Kreative manage the daily (currently twice per day) movement of data between Jasbe Head Office and all Sites. This also includes the provision of data for Leighton O'Briens', and in some cases to BP Australia. In the near future (stage 2), additional information will be provided to Jasbe via new Kreative applications to support the centralized network management processes. In essence, Jasbe Petroleum are now positioned to be technology self sufficient in the management of their entire Network of Sites.

Agostino Group - BP Dealer

 8 systems were purchased by the Agostino Group in Adelaide which brings the number of their installed system to 10 in total. This undertaking was completed in the same time period as the Jasbe rollout, so all resources were fully utilized. Again, the rollout was managed in conjunction with Agostino, Metric and Kreative resources and all Sites were installed on schedule and with minimal disruption to trading.

Our next release of software is under development with some exciting additions to make your Konvenience system an even more valuable Site management solution. Details to follow soon.

10 YEARS YOUNG & A NEW HOME!

 

Kreative Technology Pty Ltd celebrates 10 years of business at the end of April 2009.  Yes, we are ten years young and going strong thanks to our supportive and expanding Client base.  Our products and services are well established and have reached far beyond that critical mass required to provide momentum for our continued growth.

 Our appreciation and thanks go to our loyal customers who have given their commitment to our solutions and also to the many who have made multiple purchases for their network of locations.  A few have also chosen to incorporate our Central applications to complement their network management.   We have also enjoyed a strong and rewarding partnership with Metric Group Ltd and have continued our relationship through their various guises.  Many Clients have been satisfied with the one stop solution that this partnership delivers.

 Growth - to this end we are moving to new and exciting premises with excellent access and facilities.   We have been at the same premises for the past eight years and it has served us extremely well.  However, with the number of available rental locations we chose to take advantage of this rather than renew again. 

 We are still in Melbourne’s CBD which has provided convenience for clients and employees alike.  The new location has easy access to parking and public transport, is less “busy” and friendlier for our Couriers and Delivery vehicles.  It does mean we have to forego Hardware Lane and the many choices of Cafés and Restaurants.   Not too much of a compromise, they are still within walking distance!

Reliance Petroleum

 A dual POS Konvenience solution has been implemented at the brand new BP Burrum Heads location in Queensland.  This is an IGA store with Delicatessen, Fresh Produce as well as the Convenience range of goods.  This site has interfaces to; Metcash (Electronic Orders and Price downloads), Wedderburn Scales (DS-772 / SM-902) and Petrolink, the Reliance Head Office system.

Growing Numbers

 A record number of sales have occurred during the first half of 2007.  Both Multi Site and Single Site operators are embracing the advantages of the Kreative solutions.  We have a broad base of brands now enjoying the benefits of both the Konvenience and FuelStop solutions. Our marketing partnership with Metric Australia, which affords a turn key solution, is proving to be advantageous to our growing client base.

 The Integrated BP Eftpos and Metcash Grocery Host interfaces are popular and the regular releases with beneficial features continue to support the value add proposition with the Kreative Solutions.

 Keep an eye out for new and exciting features and functions which will be introduced in the second half of 2007.

 Jasbe Petroleum.

 Our third Konvenience system has been installed at BP Wyndham Vale in Victoria.  All three locations are currently sending and receiving data via BP Head Office systems.  This has allowed for a seamless cutover to the Konvenience system with minimal impact on their central Management systems.  Further inplementations will continue across their network during 2007/8.

 Ballina Petroleum.

 A second Konvenience implementation took place at Byron Bay – BP Suffolk Park with a third to follow at the beginning of July.

 New Systems.

Growth continues with a steady increase in implementations.  The multiple site commitments continue with two Konvenience clients in the Newcastle Region (United Fuels and BP sites) with further installs planned during the last quarter of 2007.
